We’ve been asked to promote a very worthwhile cause; the new Rural Health Outreach Service from Macmillan delivered in partnership with The Farming Life Centre. This is a new source of support for residents of the northern Derbyshire Dales affected by ongoing health issues, cancer or other life limiting conditions.

They are there to support you, your carers, family and friends to cope with the challenges of long term ill health: a listening ear, telephone befriending, regular drop-in support at Bakewell market.

The service is confidential and free of charge
