Last year our village day raised over £3000 at Sheldon Day, our annual village fete. This money goes to support the community with money going to the playground upkeep, the old peoples Christmas dinner, other village and community activities as well as general support of village areas and village hall that are open to all our residents and visitors.

The main money raiser is the Raffle: we pay for the main prize (this year a helicopter ride over the Peak District). All other prizes are donated – food, games, meals, anything. Please consider anything that we can give as prizes, we would be very grateful.

We also ask for some sponsorship to support the day. All sponsors will be mentioned and thanked on website and the free programme, and can put up a small sign by the announcers caravan if they like. Sponsorship is needed for:

£30     Hook a Duck (Prizes and Ducks)
£30     Kids races and games on the playing field
£30     Welly wanging
£50     Dog show (already sponsored)
£50     Ball Race (prizes and balls)
£100   Poultry and Produce Show (Rosettes and prizes)
£150   Church Flower Display

These can be part sponsored i.e. Last year flowers was sponsored by several people in £25 blocks. We would be very grateful for your support for any of these events.
