Guest Jottings!

Here is a litte note from some recent visitors to our village!

We had the pleasure of visiting Sheldon the last weekend again. As always we had a very, very nice time with the Herberts in and around Sheldon. It is so nice to dive into your village life with sheep coming down the main road on Sunday with the farmer in the big landrover and a couple of 4*4 driving the sheep.

Honestly, it works a little different when you come down the mountain pastures with 35 cows in Austria ;o)

Unfortunately we didn’t get any rocky road(s) (editors comment: a cake), I think the lady who is in charge of this for Sheldon seemed to be out of town. so we had to nibble on Toblerone and Bakewell Pudding instead. When writing this I must admit as well that Margeret the best cook on earth supplied us with fantastic dinners, lunches and breakfast.

My wife keeps telling me we need to move to the Peak District. So hold on we will be back soon.
